The Phantom Test Driver (PTD) is a complete development environment
for the Phantom language. It is used in conjunction with the Phantom
script engine to perform complex automation tasks. Its primary purpose
is to manage and execute complex automation projects, and to aid in
script development.
Some of PTD's features include an integrated script editor, a script
organization utility, and script output processing. Entire automation
projects can be managed in PTD using suites
and testcases.
There are many new features in PTD version 2.0. The new integrated
script debugger provides a simple way to
debug scripts. Remote script execution
is supported through the use of remote Phantom
Agents. A new, robust output processing
capability has also been added, along with a window
declarations editor.
There are many more new features and capabilities for PTD. For more
information, start with the overview of
PTD, or try some of the included tutorials.
